More than 100 years of tradition, embedded in every stone
Penzion Berc is much more than a provider of accommodation and good cuisine. Our story grew and developed on the foundations of more than 100 years of tradition, which began in 1908, when our great-grandfather, Jožef Berc, became the owner of the farm estate. Today's mighty outer image of the guesthouse preserves the cohesive thread of the former architecture and reminds us of the path that our ancestors walked.

From a farm to state-of-the-art guesthouse in Yugoslavia
1954 was a crucial moment for the development of today's guesthouse, when Ludvik and Rozalija
Berc decided to stop with the agricultural activity and thus to enter the challenges of the full path of tourism. The path was not easy, but it was worth it, and crowned with a special success in the early 1970’s, when Ludvik junior and Milena Berc took over the farm and turned it into the most modern guesthouse in the then Yugoslavia.

Our history
"As the third generation, which continues the successful story of Penzion Berc, we swear by hominess, which makes our guests always happy to return, while at the same time we keep pace with the times in renovation of the rooms as well as a top-notch culinary offer." - Miha Berc
Today, the farm has been converted into a friendly boutique hotel, which is managed by the third generation of the family. We maintain a commitment to the tradition with respect, which makes every step feel peaceful and homely, followed by modern trends in the interior and exterior and exquisite cuisine.
In the very heart of Bled
The guesthouse is situated in a quiet location in the middle of a breath taking Bled landscape, which rises to the mighty Julian Alps in the east. Bled city center, one of the most beautiful and oldest tourist resorts in Slovenia, it is only a 3-minute walk away - and a walk to Lake Bled takes the same.
